Application guidelines


Applications must be submitted in English only before the deadline of October 15th. Applications must include the following information:

1. A clear and concise description of the area of interest, research plan and reasons behind the visit.
This should outline what the applicant expects to achieve during his/her visit. It should therefore detail what specific experience is sought and how this would fit into the applicant’s individual career development. In particular, details should be supplied regarding the Institution to be visited as well as the clinical/research opportunities the hosting department can offer.

2. A curriculum vitae (max 2 pages).
Applicants should submit a full CV with a note detailing their career intentions. The applicant is invited to detail the number of research articles published on international peer-reviewed journals, the number of review articles, the number of book chapters and the number of congress presentations. S/he is also invited to produce a list of the most relevant papers (maximum 5).

3. A Letter of support.
Applicants should include a letter of support from their own head of department.

4. A letter of invitation.

A letter of invitation from the head of the department applicants wish to visit must also be supplied indicating that the hosting unit will be capable to provide the expected training experience.
