15 - 17 March 2012, Hamburg, Germany

Aim

Building up on the success of the 1st course organised in March 2011, ESSO will organise a second edition in March 2012.

The course aims at discussing evidence-based clinical decision-making in the management of primary and secondary peritoneal cancer and will offer a multidiscipinary programme combining practical aspects and theoretical problems.

Technical and clinical approaches will be revisited and updated. Presentations will include the state of the art, latest advancements and some videos with tips and tricks by experts in the field. Development in further direction as minimal invasive approaches in selected cases will be discussed.

Participants will perform cytoreductive surgery in small groups in the wet lab using several new technical devices under supervision by experts. Therefore the workshop is limited to a small number of participants.
