Continuing Medical Education makes a difference!

Every year, the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) organises in co-operation with the European Board of Surgery of the UEMS an examination session in surgical oncology.
Open to surgeons trained in Europe, the examination aims at certifying the level of up-to-date knowledge, skills, and general competence necessary for the optimal treatment of a cancer patient.

The examination is conducted under the supervision of the Examination Board chaired by Prof. Schlomo Schneebaum (IS), Head of the Division of Surgical Oncology, Surgical section, UEMS.

The following individuals have passed the 2009 examination organised on 23rd and 24th September in Berlin:

The next EBSQ examination will be organised during the 15th ESSO Congress in Bordeaux (15-17 September 2010).
