Aim of the Advanced Course
During the first day (theoretical session) the programme will offer participants the opportunity to learn or improve their strategy for a minimally invasive approach to Upper GI surgical oncology.
The second day (hands-on session/cadaver) will consist on a technical workshop practically teaching participants manual skills and new technologies, including the application of the latest HD video-equipment and brand new dissection devices supplied by the course sponsors.

Ideal course candidate
- General surgeons and surgical oncologists interested in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery of the Upper GI tract.
- Hands-on sessions with human cadavers (3 participants per cadaver)
- Plenary lectures
Participation is limited to 12 participants.
Registration fee is 2000€ for ESSO members and 2400€ for non-members. It includes the registration for the course, catering and a social dinner.
