ECCO-AACR-EORT-ESMO FLIMS WORKSHOP: Methods in Clinical Cancer Research
|
The 12th workshop on Methods in Clinical Cancer Research for junior clinical oncologists will be organised from 19 to 25 June 2010 in Flims, Switzerland.
This one-week intensive residential training offers a unique opportunity for young oncology surgeons to learn the essentials of clinical trials and be in direct contact with experts in this specific area. Hence, the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) is pleased to support the participation of its young members with several fellowships. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
Applicants are expected to submit a proposal for a clinical trial which, if successful, they bring to the Workshop for development from the concept stage to a full protocol during the five days of the meeting. The faculty work as hard as the students revising and re-reading draft protocols throughout the week. The aim is that, upon his/her return home, the applicant actually submits the protocol to the involved ethics board and performs the designed study.
Participation is per competitive application. The deadline for the receipt of applications is 12 February.
