During even years, the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) organises a biennial congress gathering surgical oncologists from all over Europe and beyond. With an attendance of more than 800 participants, the ESSO Congress offers a wonderful platform for exchanges of experience and know-how and is recognized as the major event on surgical oncology in Europe.
The 15th biennial Congress of theEuropean Society of Surgical Oncology (15 to 17 September 2010, Bordeaux, France) was one of the most successful and prestigious congresses convened by ESSO to date. It was attended by close to 900 delegates from 61 countries across Europe and internationally. The faculty of renowned speakers included over 100 international experts on a wide range of surgical oncology topics.
