Aim of the Course
Led by an international faculty of well-known experts in the field, this course will be an introduction to minimally invasive esophagectomy and gastrectomy (including robotic surgery). Several lectures will show the vast possibilities as well as potential pitfalls of these procedures. Conventional endoscopic systems and new surgical techniques including robotic systems will be available during hands on sessions on cadavers. Finally, tips will be given on how to implement minimally invasive gastrectomy and esophagectomy in your own center.

Ideal course candidate
- Novice surgeons to minimally invasive upper GI surgery willing to implement minimally invasive gastrectomy and/or esophagectomy in their center
- Experienced surgeons and senior residents willing to improve their upper GI laparoscopic practice
