This online course consists of 2 parts, 4 hours each.
First part: 4-8 pm CET, 20th March 2023
Second part: 4-8 pm CET, 27th March 2023
This On-line based course will cover all aspects of the multidisciplinary management of upper GI malignancies from diagnosis to outcome measurement.
Main topics:

Preoperative management of upper GI cancer patients: Diagnostic workup, frailty assessment, prehabilitation programs, perioperative cancer treatment including new therapies.

Operative management of upper GI cancer patients: Surgical anatomy and technique.

Postoperative management of upper GI cancer patients: ERAS, quality of life, and outcome measurement.
Educational outcomes:
Broad understanding of the multidisciplinary management of patients with upper GI malignancies. Indications for intervention including evidence from clinical studies.
