Exciting news to start the year! We are happy to announce that the Association of Surgeons of Malta (ASM) becomes an affiliated society of ESSO. 

ASM was established in 1995 to encourage postgraduate training and to improve standards of patient care. It supervises the surgical training programme and recommends trainees for specialist certification and strives to ameliorate surgeons' working conditions.

It represents the Surgical Community of Malta and strives to maintain and improve the standard of care of our patients, to uphold high levels of education and training and ameliorate the conditions of work of surgeons.
