Case Studies for Surgeons: Optimizing the Treatment of Higher-Risk Early HER2-Positive Breast Cancer

Upon completion of this activity, learners will have:

  • Increased knowledge regarding the efficacy evidence behind standard of care neoadjuvant and/or adjuvant paradigms for high-risk early HER2+ breast cancer
  • Greater competence related to selecting an appropriate neoadjuvant, surgical, and adjuvant approach for the patient based on risk of recurrence/presence or absence of residual disease, identifying patients with residual disease/pathCR following neoadjuvant therapy
