We’ve learnt with deep sadness the passing away of Professor Jose Baselga on Sunday 21st March 2021.
Our sincere condolences to his family
He was an outstanding renowned medical oncologist specialised in breast cancer who made remarkable contributions to cancer research, treatment and care.
As past President of ESMO, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Barcelona VHIO’s International Scientific Committee and the FERO Foundation, and Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Harvard Medical School. He also served as Board Member of EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer).
