
Aim of the course
Jointly organised by ESO, ESSO, ESTRO and ESP, the key goal of this course is to encourage medical students to specialize in an oncology related discipline. During one week, students will receive theoretical and practical training from experienced teachers.
By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of oncology and a clear picture of the complexity and importance of the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment.
The programme incorporates plenary sessions, MTD case study presentations, daily special visits to various oncology departments and group course projects that must be finalized and presented at the end of the course. A series of pre-course videos will be provided in advance, followed by a Q&A session before the course starts.
*Practical information: Students are requested to bring their laptops to the course.
**Registration information: 40 students will be selected through a competitive application process. Registration fee shall be paid only after you have been selected.

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Selected candidates (non-local) will be provided with an accommodation financial aid of 200€ post-course.
