Aim of the course

Equip participants with fundamental and advanced knowledge of ultrasound techniques.
Introduce the use of intraoperative ultrasound for breast cancer in clinical setting and at outpatient department.
Provide hands-on training in ultrasound-guided surgical techniques and localization technologies.
Enhance knowledge about alternative localization techniques, margin assessment and handling clinical cases in breast surgery.

Theoretical Lectures: Covering fundamentals and advanced concepts (e.g., IOUS in neoadjuvant setting)

Practical Sessions: Hands-on training with phantom models and live demonstrations (e.g., lumpectomy, localisation techniques)
