The countdown is on! Don’t miss the opportunity to submit your abstract for the ESSO 45 Congress, taking place in Madrid (SP) on 4-6 November 2026 under the theme Surgical Oncology without Borders: Innovations and Challenges Worldwide.
We warmly invite you and your colleagues to share your latest research, clinical experience, and innovative ideas with the international surgical oncology community at ESSO 45.
You can submit abstracts in one of the following 9 scientific areas: Breast; Colorectal and Anal cancer; Endocrine, Head & Neck; HPB; Innovation and Technology; Melanoma; PSM; Sarcoma; Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer.
Accepted abstracts may be selected for one of the following presentation types:
- Oral Presentation: 8-minute presentation within the ESSO 45 scientific programme
- Poster in Spotlight: 5-minute presentation during coffee breaks at dedicated Poster Spotlight stations. Posters will also be displayed throughout the congress
- ePoster: Digital poster displayed on ePoster screens for the full duration of the congress (no dedicated presentation time slot).
- Surgical Trial Proposal – Dragon’s Den Session: Abstracts describing surgical trial proposals in an advanced stage of development (not yet recruiting at the time of ESSO 45). The top three highest-scoring proposals will be selected for live presentation during the Dragon’s Den session.
