This fellowship is quite unique as it offers clinical training in surgical oncology to surgeons who have not trained in the US and who otherwise would not be eligible for the standard American complex general surgical oncology fellowship.
The mission of this programme is to train leaders in surgical oncology and encourage worldwide collaboration in the care of cancer patients. Trainees will have exposure to a high volume of complex surgical cases with options for personalisation of focus within breast, endocrine, HPB, gastrointestinal, peritoneal surface malignancy, melanoma, sarcoma, and colorectal oncology.
Graduates will be prepared to design and conduct clinical research and trials, plan and execute complex operations, lead multidisciplinary teams, and have the confidence and expertise necessary to achieve leadership positions within their surgical community.
