Technical Aspects on Lymph Node Dissection in Gastric Cancer Surgery

This webinar, organised by the ESSO Upper GI Working Group, will focus on the technical aspects of lymph node dissection in gastric cancer surgery, with particular attention to current approaches and the evolving role of extended lymphadenectomy.

The webinar aims to provide participants with a practical understanding of the principles and indications of lymph node dissection in gastric cancer, including the role of approaches beyond D2 lymphadenectomy. It will address key questions regarding where, when, how, in whom, and by whom extended lymph node dissection should be performed.
