Then take on the mantle of leadership and be part of the National Representatives for the Young ESSO! The Y-ESSO National Representatives are the young ambassadors of ESSO who provide the link between the broader network and local surgical societies and hospitals within countries/regions. They can initiate broader conversations or share ideas for collaborative projects
General Roles:
- To be ESSO’s young ambassadors – the link between your national society or institution and ESSO
- To help increase ESSO visibility within your countries and, possibly, increase ESSO membership
- To contribute to the overall ESSO aim to improve and harmonise standards for surgical oncology training, patient care & research in Europe (and beyond)
What do we offer:
- Recognition of your commitment to Y-ESSO and role of national representative in your country on the ESSO website and within the Surgical Oncology community
- Networking opportunities with peers and key figures in the Surgical Oncology community
- Possible future committee positions within ESSO

Eligibility requirements:
- Young ESSO members within 15 years of graduation.
