Aim of the course

The ESSO Breast Surgery Course – Baku is a two-day, advanced educational program dedicated to modern breast surgical oncology, with a strong focus on oncoplastic breast surgery, axillary management, and multidisciplinary decision-making.

The course integrates state-of-the-art lectures, MDT-style case discussions, video-based teaching, and hands-on practical sessions using synthetic and phantom models, reflecting current European standards in breast surgery education.

After completing the course, participants will be better equipped to implement evidence-based, patient-centered, and guideline-concordant surgical approaches in breast cancer care.
