We are pleased to announce the publication in the European Journal of Surgical Oncology (EJSO) of a landmark article: “Peritoneal Surface Oncology surgery: Reflections on key determinants of success for female surgeons in this challenging discipline” by Prof. Beate Rau and an international group of leading experts.
The article brings together the reflections of ten global female surgical oncologists working in Peritoneal Surface Oncology (PSO). It highlights their personal journeys, the challenges faced, the importance of mentorship, and the motivation behind their careers in this field.
