This remarkable growth reflects the continued engagement, scientific excellence, and international reach of the surgical oncology community. Under the theme Surgical Oncology without Borders: Innovations and Challenges Worldwide, ESSO 45 has attracted contributions from colleagues across a broad range of specialties, institutions, and countries worldwide.
We would like to warmly thank all authors and research teams who submitted their work and contributed to shaping what promises to be one of the most scientifically rich editions of the congress to date.
The abstract review process will now begin, with reviewers and scientific committees evaluating submissions over the coming weeks. Authors will be informed of the outcomes in early July 2026.
In the meantime, we encourage colleagues to begin planning their participation in ESSO 45. The detailed scientific programme is continuously being updated and is now nearing completion, with only a few final faculty confirmations remaining.
Registration for ESSO 45 is open, and delegates can benefit from early registration rates until 19 August 2026.
