Aim of the course
Led by Professor Paul Sugarbaker, this video-based workshop on cytoreductive surgery will take place one day prior to the ESSO Advanced Course on the Management of HIPEC after CRS that will start on 25th March.
This video-based workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of the technical aspects of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) for peritoneal surface malignancies. Participants will gain in-depth insight through high-quality surgical footage demonstrating peritonectomy techniques, visceral resections, and intestinal reconstruction.
Each session includes interactive discussions focused on intraoperative decision-making, reconstructive strategies, and the evolving role of minimally invasive approaches in CRS. This course is designed to enhance surgical understanding and support refinement of operative techniques.
This course can be attended by ESPSO participants as the additional course to complete the ESPSO Training Programme.
